The Ontario Employer Tools website, its tools, and the "Ontario Job Posting Checker & Hiring Log" Google Sheets add-on (together, "the tools") are provided free of charge by Viana Safa for general information. By using them you agree to these terms.

Not legal advice. The tools restate what Ontario statutes and regulations say and check whether text contains the elements they require. They do not assess your specific situation, do not guarantee compliance with any law, and are not a substitute for advice from an Ontario employment lawyer or the relevant Ministry. No lawyer–client relationship is created. The publisher is not a lawyer and the tools have not been reviewed by a lawyer.

As is. The tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Laws change; the official text is at ontario.ca/laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any loss arising from use of the tools.

Your data. The tools do not transmit what you enter. The add-on writes to your spreadsheet only when you ask it to.

Intellectual property. The tools are © 2026 Viana Safa. Statutory extracts are © King's Printer for Ontario, reproduced under the Government of Ontario's terms for legislation, and are not official versions. You may use the tools for your own organisation; you may not resell or redistribute them.
