Privacy policy

Effective 17 September 2026. Applies to the Ontario Employer Tools website and to the "Ontario Job Posting Checker & Hiring Log" Google Sheets add-on, both published by Viana Safa, Toronto, Ontario (vianasafa@gmail.com).

What we collect

Nothing. The website's tools run entirely in your browser; the text you paste and the answers you choose are not transmitted to any server, not stored, and not seen by the publisher. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

The Google Sheets add-on

The add-on runs inside Google Sheets under your Google account. It requests two permissions: to view and manage the spreadsheet it is opened in (spreadsheets.currentonly), which it needs to create the hiring-log sheets and to add a row when you click "Save to log", and to display its sidebar and menu (script.container.ui). It does not read other files, does not access your contacts or email, does not make any network request, and does not send any data to the publisher or to any third party. The posting text you paste into the sidebar is processed in the sidebar and is only written to your spreadsheet if you click "Save to log". The add-on's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Purchases

Paid document kits are sold through Gumroad, which processes payment and delivery under its own privacy policy. The publisher sees the purchaser's email address as provided by Gumroad in order to deliver the files and answer support questions, and uses it for nothing else.
