About these tools
What they are
Two free, browser-only tools for Ontario employers: a checker that looks for the elements the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (Part III.1) and O. Reg. 476/24 require in a publicly advertised job posting, and a navigator for the accessibility compliance report due 31 December 2026 under the AODA and O. Reg. 191/11. They restate what the law says, cite the section, and check whether text contains the required elements. They do not judge whether a figure is right, whether a statement is true, or whether an exemption applies to your particular facts.
What they are not
Legal advice. Reading this site or using these tools does not create a lawyer–client relationship with anyone. The author is not a lawyer and is not licensed to provide legal services in Ontario. Nothing on this site has been reviewed by a lawyer. For your own situation, speak to an Ontario employment lawyer or contact the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (1-800-531-5551) or, for accessibility, the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility.
How they were made
Researched against the official consolidated law published on e-Laws (currency date 2 September 2026) and the relevant ontario.ca pages and portal user guide, then drafted with AI research and drafting assistance and checked by the author against those sources. Statutory extracts are © King's Printer for Ontario, reproduced under the Government of Ontario's terms for reproducing legislation; they are not official versions. Laws change: the official text is at ontario.ca/laws.
Privacy
The tools run entirely in your browser. No posting text, answers or personal information is transmitted to any server, stored, or seen by the author. The site sets no cookies. The paid kits are sold through Gumroad, which has its own privacy policy.
